Psychosocial workload can arise in various ways. Think of sustained work pressure and stress, but also inappropriate behavior, aggression, discrimination, or a work environment where employees feel insufficiently safe.

Centrum voor Stressmanagement helps organizations systematically identify these risks and translate them into measures that are feasible in day-to-day practice.

When is a PSA approach beneficial?

A targeted PSA approach can help when you notice, for example, that:

  • workload and stress are structurally increasing;
  • employees feel insufficiently safe to discuss issues;
  • inappropriate behavior, aggression, or exclusion require attention;
  • there are many signals, but no clear priorities yet;
  • existing measures have insufficient effect;
  • you want to move from policy to concrete action.

Which themes can we investigate?

Workload and stress

We examine where structural strain arises and which factors contribute to stress, insufficient recovery, and the risk of absenteeism.

Inappropriate behavior and social safety

We identify where employees experience tension or insecurity, and which improvements are needed in behavior, agreements, or collaboration.

Aggression and violence

When employees face aggression or threatening situations, we examine risks, prevention, action strategies, and follow-up.

Discrimination and exclusion

We help investigate signals seriously and thoroughly, translating them into appropriate improvement measures.

From signals to clear priorities

The goal is not to tackle as many topics as possible at once. First, we identify where the greatest risks and focus areas lie.

In doing so, we also look at what is already working well within the organization and where existing agreements or working methods can be reinforced.

What do you receive?

Insight into risks and causes

You will receive an overview of the key themes and factors that require attention within your organization.

Clear priorities

Together, we determine which topics should be addressed first and why.

Practical measures

The outcomes are translated into concrete actions suited to the workplace, teams, and managers.

Evaluation and follow-up

We agree on how changes will be monitored and when to review whether additional measures are necessary.

How it works

1. Discussing the request and situation

We determine which themes are relevant, which parts of the organization are involved, and what you want to achieve.

2. Gathering information

Depending on the requirements, we use interviews, scans, or other available information to identify patterns and risks.

3. Analysis and priorities

We bring together the key points of attention and determine where action is most needed.

4. Implementing measures

The chosen improvements are translated into clear agreements and practical actions.

5. Evaluation

We examine what is changing, what works, and where adjustments remain necessary.

Handling sensitive information with care

Topics such as social safety, inappropriate behavior, and stress can be sensitive. That is why we make clear agreements in advance regarding confidentiality, access to information, and reporting.

When results are used at the team or organizational level, we ensure the anonymity of individual employees.

Which next step is appropriate?

Depending on the findings from the analysis, further support can focus on workload, teams, leadership, social safety, or broader organizational issues.

Is the strain primarily within a single team? Then a Team Stress Radar or Workload & Priorities Reset may be suitable. If the issue is broader, an organization-wide approach may provide deeper insight.

Would you like to address PSA practically?

During an initial consultation, we will discuss current challenges and determine which approach best aligns with your organization. You can start small with a single department or opt for a broader approach.
